Background

Painting is Michelle passion. She traditionally works with large canvases using oil, as well as acrylic and watercolour works. Michelle also enjoys exploring various other mediums such as printmaking, pottery and ceramics. She was showcased in her local paper at age 16 for her gallery displayed works in pencil. She studied art at the Brisbane Institute of Art in her 30's. She has been a finalist in the Stanthorpe Art Prize Competition 2008. Michelle also won 1st prize as a Brisbane upcoming artist and was placed at various other local Brisbane art exhibitions. She has had some of her works exhibited at the Mona Gallery in Brisbane.
